PLEASE NOTE this page is being updated as the course layout has changed (February 2017)
February 2017: Holes 9 and 10 have been removed from the course layout (as development of the adjacent residential site expands) and we have introduced two brand new holes (17th and 18th) on the west side of Ibbotson Street behind the clubhouse.
The score card and course layout will be updated soon. With holes 9 and 10 gone, the present score card covers the final 16 holes of play — the new 1st and 2nd are not on the current scorecard as this area of the club’s property has not been used before for golf holes (the west side of Ibbotson Street will expand as the adjacent residential development expands).

A 4,703m par 67 (mens) 18-hole country-style course, St Leonards offers challenging grass greens with slightly undulating fairways with coastal tea trees and natural gums. There is an abundance of natural bird life, and glimpses of Port Phillip Bay from the 8th hole. Despite being a shorter course, the smaller sized greens, longer par 3’s and some narrow tee corridors ensure interest and enjoyment for golfers of all ages and levels.
For women, the course is a par 67 and 4,362m in length.
Green Fees
Adults $15, $10 for 9 holes; Children up to 18 years $5 — applicable for either 9 holes or 18 holes.
Pay at clubhouse (green fee payments just next to front door if clubhouse is closed).
Please ensure you pay BEFORE teeing off and carry your receipt with you.
Bookings
There is a chipping area at the course but no main practice facilities or pro shop. Plenty of car parking is available outside the clubhouse in Ibbotson Street.

9 Hole Layout
Want to play 9 holes? We suggest playing holes 3 to 7 (the old 1 to 5), then 15 to 18.
The 15th tee is located just past the 8th (old 6th) tee — download the course 9-hole layout map below for specific directions. Please ensure if you skip from 7 to 15 that you don’t interrupt games already underway on the back 9.
Clubhouse and facilities
The new clubhouse is on Ibbotson Street — see the map on our Contact and Location page. There is no course access via old clubhouse at Blanche Street.
When open, the clubhouse has a kitchen and licensed bar (and barbecue facilities for clubhouse hire and corporate/social golf days).
NEW Course Layout

The front and back nines have been reversed (eg, the old 10th is now the 1st, and the old 1st is now the 10th).
As well, two holes are now different lengths — the old first (now the 10th) is shorter and a par 3 instead of a par 4. The tee is opposite the 9th green (old 18th). The old 5th par 3 is now longer too with a new tee (14th hole, 189m).
You might find the par 3’s on the back nine challenging … from the men’s tee, there are five par 3’s on the back 9 (eight par 3’s in total) and they are 190m, 165m, 189m, 203m and 208m respectively.

Golfer Review online:
“Run by volunteers with limited resources who are very proud of their course, very cheap green fees. Found them to be extremely friendly and accommodating. After playing up country on sandscrapes, I appreciated the course and surrounds, have played on a lot worse.”
